CVEA maintains a selection of videos, workbooks, and informational materials for local classroom and/or meeting use. Materials are written for target audiences. The majority of materials available are for the elementary school age child. - Where the Little Light Bulb Gets Its Juice - Grades K-3 - Youngsters learn how electricity is generated and transmitted as they watch this engaging, animated video. A perennial favorite.
- Louie the Lightening Bug: Play It Safe Around Electricity - Grades K-2- Designed to help children understand how to be safe around electricity while at play.
- Matter and Energy for Beginners: Electricity - A 15-minute video designed to make physical science more accessible to young people. It's a mystery with Investigator Alligator. He solves the mystery by gathering information and making inferences from his observations. In doing so, he discovers, with the help of his friend Mr. E, that with a little experimentation and a little messing around, a lot of questions can be answered.
- Electrical Safety - Grades 4-8 - 12-minute video that promotes a healthy respect for an extremely useful but taken-for-granted everyday aid, electricity. To gain this respect through knowledge of its potential hazards, limitations, and common mistakes. This film is organized around five rules for using electricity safely. After each rule, the film presents a series of examples showing common mistakes and then demonstrates proper usage.
